Hi, Can anyone tell me where I can get new swing arm bushes for a 4LO from? Also everywhere I read , everybody says to use genuine Yam gaskets on an engine rebuild, are these still available from Yamaha or is there an alternative? Cheers, Kev

Cheers, Kev Hi mate It used to be the case that most non genuine gaskets where not very good but the gaskets of today are quight good yam are still the best equal to vezra, but i would not worry about using patten gaskets i use them all the time and have never had a problem, just use a little instant as well to bond them. I can get the spindel you need but they cost loads i got one for some one just last month as i recall it was £60 . the are hardend at ether end and then ground to fit. I tryed to get it coppyed but was told to do them to the same spec would cost as much as the gen yam one.

Hi Norbo, it's not the spindle I need but the 2 bushes that go in either side of the swing arm, the spindle looks O.K. but have had to remove the bushes as s/arm has gone for powder coating. Cheers, Kev

I am having a few Phospher Bronze bushes made up at the moment with all the grees grooves in to the same speck as the gen yam ones but they may still be afew weeks yet . They will be a little better and are the same price as Nige's .
