It will be the new stuff. Aldi would not break the law selling paint remover that actually works. Might remove your paint though, that's if some one has painted the bike with emulsion.
You need the stuff with dichloromethane in it.

I bought mine from a local paint supplier.
I think he was joking when he said one part of the ingredients was also found in anthrax?
Anyway can't tell what the ingredients are as the label bubbled and melted off in storage before I got to use it (I'm not joking!).
Needless to say I have bought some PVC gauntlets and safety glasses.

hi, I used some "Rustins Stypit" recently, I read online somewhere that it was supposed to do the same as the old nitromors, and it deffo did what it says on the tin, I got it from ebay to try it out, i bought some more as i was impressed with the results. It even melted the rubber gloves i wore while i used it ! steven.

Wow if I did that on the draining board I'd be losing a lot more than my gloves
Try using thick chemical gloves those thin latex/nitrile ones type just aren't the go

All the one's you buy from DIY stores are useless. If you go to a Car paint factors they sell the stuff that works and tends to be a bit cheaper as well There's also a guy that sells it at the old bike shows.

Just wondered if you used it on plastic or just metal parts? Is it safe on plastic panels?
