noticed on my tank the other day where it has been lacquered there are some runs where the decals are any advice on how to get rid of if this is possible thanks

Poke you self in the eyes you won't notice them with the smarting and watering lol
You could very carefully try and sand them then polish but it is very easy to go through the thinner paint so a big risk

hi ,get a Stanley knife blade and carefully scrape the run with the blade up right to the run. oh gently sliding it down the run .when down enough flat back with fine wet/dry ,wet but keep drying checking .do not break through then polish up .as midlife said a risk. I was in the car body trade/refinishing for 20 plus years and it was always a ring twitcher lol.
