Hi lads, wanna pick the brain of you guys that have fitted the clear clutch cover, in the fitting instructions from NK Racing he says to brush on a oil /petrol proof sealant in the o ring groove on the clear window, I assume if its brushable that it needs to be quite liquid if that makes sense, what you guys use as I cant think what to use Thanks in advance

why does it need to be petrol proof?
shouldn't have petrol in the gearbox
A good reasonable temp rated RTV gasket silicone will do (except Blue Max or Ultra Blue/Grey or whatever colour you can get-they dissolve in oil)
I'd use either a black or clear, black if your side case is black or clear cause the cover is clear

I've made some clear covers in the past and have used an o ring dry, they have been fine and don't leak.
