This has no doubt been done to death but have tried a search with no luck.
What gear oil should I use in my 443 cheetah cub? Heard people run ATF or just normal 10w30 bike oil?

Bare on here says use 75/80 gear oil to GL4 spec. Its the best I have ever used. Wet clutch safe too. Gear oils are rated different to engine oils. 75/80 gear oil is like 10/40 engine oil.

Hi guys, haynes says to use 10/30 for my 250lc but I can't seem to find it anywhere locally. Should I use 10/30 engine oil or a gearbox oil like your talking about? Thanks

always a gearbox oil for me, silkolene light gear oil Found a Motul Transoil medium, same rating as 10w30 as Haynes says but it's the equivalent in gear oil, will that be alright?
