Hello LC crazy people,I want to fit the NC29 swingarm to the LC frame, the easy option is to get the swinger modded, but I would like to widen the frame and use the rising rate linkage. Has anybody done this or looked into it? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Didn't think you were going to get started on this one yet?? LOL.
Type nc29 into the search option.a few links will come up. Have a look there.
Just had another look through the posts. Not going to be much help. Nobody seems to have used the linkage. KN Racing conversion.

Next I have to make some new mounts big enough to take the 30mm thread. Cut out some templates from cardboard and stick them on with sticky back plastic. ?

Mmm think you may need to spread the frame, just fitted one to my hybrid & if your running nc29 wheel & sprocket carrier your going to hit the frame with the chain. Ask Trubrit he'll know, he has one on his blue hybrid.

If it were my choice Id NC30 arm it as its easier to make some pipes for than the 29 arm. The 29 arm is offset to the left and sticks out more on the left side than the right. This can look odd from the rear with side by side pipes. The 30 arm can still have side by side pipes as the right one goes behind the footrest hanger.

Would it be possible to make GP style on the r/h side?

The 30 with GP pipes would look good... though the 29 with side by sides... mmm! Tough choice.

^^^ or maybe them^^^^ It's gonna be a tough call! Can't decide yet,I thought about putting mounts for both linkage's and shocks to be able to swap. The front end is coming the end of the week,I may wait until that goes on before I rush in.

This is a set I did with an RC45 arm. That looks really good,2 questions-are the pipes different fitment for the YPVS and 4LO engine and also does it matter if your barrels are tuned or not?

They would be slightly different fitment depending on how you mount them and how the swing arm linkage goes. These were designed for std cylinders but work well on a fast road tune too.

Had to change the linkage on my nc30 so while the wheel was off I tried it on the lc,this wheel is off a 750 and is 17''. I think the single sider is the winner.
