In the now long ago halcyon days of parts being affordable and obtainable this sea anchor of a crock would’ve been viewed as a perhaps a challenge to be relished.
I’ve certainly seen equally grim basket cases turned into decent restos or hybrids

10 yrs ago you’d have split it junked most of it and only kept some parts. It’s only 10 ish years ago I binned two sets of cases several tanks and numerous other pieces of shite that today I’d recycle. 15 yrs ago I had a local bloke and we would drop round to each others homes and pick bits up from both of our considerable amounts of tat. Just shows where the market is at.

Its only amongst those who have been doing that for as long as some of us have that we still offer the latter kind of service to other long standing mates. LOL treadplate... the worst thing you can add to any road vehicle lol

Aren’t a lot of these damaged and warped like this one from petrol leaks? Price reduced to £400. Just another £400 to go then? 😂 They must really want to sell it (not) as not only is it a horrendous price buts its collection only. So they’ve only got to find an RGV owner with a knackered belly pan who is rich and has no concept of money, who lives within driving distance of Macclesfield. Jon

Yep Shaun is right Betty boop purveyor of shite at ridiculously expensive prices as he knows what he has and doesn’t take returns. What were his other names?

wow, defo a rip off if nothing else. I checked out his listings... nothing is good value there, who on earth has the money for this stuff? If you built a bike with parts like this it'd have cost you £1m by the time youre done. Better to buy someone's done bike.
I was thinking that maybe I should start stripping my LCs and begin selling em in bits? hmm....
(dont worry that isnt about to happen, Im still above ground!)[/i]

Oh, it’s a bargain now. Dropped by a whole £10. Do they really think that’s what it’s worth? Jon

Someone on here put a link up for a US shop selling an entire lock set for half what this guy wants for just an ignition switch. Still, good luck to the seller if they can flog it at that price. Supply and demand, and all that stuff. I think my ratty looking ex-racer LC just doubled in value . The ignition is about the cleanest thing on it ! ( apart from the all new engine internals )

Ooh , I have a set of genuine Yamaha mainstand lugs , lovingly hacksawed off by my good self circa 2001 . How much should I ask for them on ebay ?? Be a good starting point for someone wanting to build their own LC . I've a worn gearshift fork that I'll throw in for free to sweeten the deal .

Feckin' minty motor !! I'd say you could just pop that in your build and ride off into the sunset . And for a measly two and a half thousand pounds ! What could possibly go wrong .

There’s currently a discount code of £75 off, leaving only a mere £2425 to pay, the code is, I kid you not ….. CERTIFIED20 !!, I think you’d need to be if considering that 😆

Feck that !! I'd be squeezing a shock mount rubber or something similar in there from my bucket of bits . Suzuki were always on the pricey side for parts .
