do you need to re jet with these pipes and is there anything you can do to stop mild steel pipes rusting

Good old barbecue paint does a great job.
Deffo need rejetting and from what I have seen on dyno graphs a big dip in power before the band.
Not the best for a road bike. Tsa's a the best option

Or just keep cleaning them and spraying WD40 on them. GP bikes never had painted exhausts, just clean them with steel wool and then spray WD40 on them and wipe off, only good if you do it after every ride as at this time of year they will rust before your eyes!

in this weather you don't have to ride them .you just need to have the bike parked up and if its quiet you can hear it rusting lol.
