Ive a set of 250LC cigars and I want to use them on my 350 build. I remember people saying there was a restricter plate in the body and that should be taken out as otherwise they are the same pipe. Can anyone confirm and offer advice on how to do it?

I maybe wrong but seem to remember the 250 pipes have four holes in the restriction plate and the 350 had 6 holes in the restriction plate.

Interesting, so open them up (cut em in half I guess?) and drill 2 more holes in said plate, or just remove it? Also, where is the plate located? Dont want to cut the wrong part :/

Wow, cool. Thanks for sharing Nigel.
So, whats the opinion, should I remove that mesh as well as drill more holes?

Low and mid range are improved just a tad down on the top end power. No other issues.

Why do you think you have 350 exhaust if they have only four hole, both 250 & 350 exhaust have 4L0 part number stamped on them, check the rear hanging bracket on the back it should have 0 stamped on the back if there 350. Thanks so much guys, so in fact people would say dont bother to cut them up, just run em? Its a road bike and I ride in traffic quite a bit so low down is more useful than revvy if im honest, but who doesnt like to enjoy a bit of revs when they can... LOL!

Ray, I reckon youve got 250 pipes from whats been said and your pics/vid, so time to drill I guess.
Are you repairing the dents in yours and removing the mesh?
