Right I have committed myself and started to get in me garage and start messing with this bike. Would of started ages ago but it took me bloody ages to get the log book in my name (nearly three months !!!!). Will start taking photos and will be posting em as I go. Right to the garage?

Plenty of help and info here. Turds have been well and truly polished by members of this forum So a pile of crap should be a piece of piss, so to speak.

You can't polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter as jimmy Carr said

We all need a garage to hide in, might as well rebuild a bike whilst there. Good luck with it.

How wiiiiiiiiide those bars!
Looks like you plenty of work in front of you, but it will all be worth the pain. I fetched my rebuild bike from its resting place in the back of my Ford focus , I thought it would never run again, lots of sweat and tears later its on the road.
Good luck.

Hi Without a bearing puller, I find you need to drift them out with a long punch or bar - knock the left bearing out from the right side and vice versa. You need to try and get the spacer between the bearings out of line so you can get the punch on the edge of the bearing - fiddly but always works for me. Dusty

Hmmm fiddly is a understatement.... Bought one of them bearing blind puller things pile of crap worked for the back wheel and now it's knackered not impressed...
Will be winging its way back to machine mart and demending my money back or it will been thrown through there bloody window....

Frame is a tad out of shape.... Are you sure? Doesn't look to me like its set in the jig correctly. First time I saw this. I thought the same. Look at the timber it's sitting on. Not level. Optical illusion. Watching with interest. I'm building a LC 350 very shortly.
