Hi guys/girls, Ive been getting my old f2 ypvs running again after i let it rot in back yard for 10 years(i know im a t**t) ive got it running ,stripped and fixed carbs ,brakes fuse box er everything really but still have some way too go!! bike feels lumpy at low revs and then smooths out and sounds great and idles fine .the ypvs valve is not quite right you can here it when you swich it on but i think its stopping at the open position. is the slot on the valve pully ment to line up with the hole in the back plate when closed or open? . Also are the carb float bowls the same as each other and be fitted to either carb?. or is one made for left and one made for the right?. I sooo want this bike up and running because no modern bike get anywhere near it for me. many thanks.

PV slot aligns with hole at full open. Carb bowls are different. choke side bowl has a small hole drilled on a passage at the bottom of bowl.
Shame having the bike rot for 10 years.
