Hi just come back from ride on 350lc after putting engine back together for the third time after rebuild new crank new gearbox bearings seals and billet clutch basket and oil pump from arrow first time kept jumping out of second gear so put 2nd and 6th in from spare gearbox now have squeal when in sixth anybody got a good second hand gearbox they want to sell as getting fed up with it now just want to ride it and stop spending loads of money thanks dave

Hi arrow just getting a bit fed up now nothing seems to go right fix one thing something else goes wrong thanks again for the oil pump cleanest bit on the bike at the moment

Hey Dave, I think that there are loads of us in a similar position to you, its so easy to throw the towel in, I fully expected to be on the road by May 14 easy, but like you ive had one thing after another, I did think of "B0ll0x to it" a couple of times, but then I think to myself that this is a 30 year old bike so what do I expect??? it works for me and the project continues, im not giving in to it and I except now that it will take as long as it takes!!! but am considering how im going to heat the garage over winter lol, stick with it mate

Trust me, when everything else on the bike is well you will look back and know it was all worth the effort.

sorry to hear of your woes.i had a 350lc that had gearbox problems it was mostly 4 gear at times it was like riding an automatic.in the finish I changed the whole gearbox .in the end it turned out to be a wrong nut to hold on the gearbox sprocket.the out put shaft was going in and out to much end float .
