Anyone know why the clutch adjuster in the middle of the clutch has cracked my freshly vapour blasted casing (ypvs) I'm really peed off can I get this welded it's prity thin?

Sorry for the word prity I'm p###ed off the casing has 4lo on it are the ypvs and lc different ?

Anyone know why the clutch adjuster in the middle of the clutch has cracked my freshly vapour blasted casing (ypvs) On the inside of the 4L0 cover there is a protrusion in the centre of the domed clutch cover area, it is not there on the YPVS cover, maybe this is your problem. OEB

the casings are different and an LC casing on the YPVS engine will do this

Canyou remove the protrusion and fit it or will it stop the clutch operating properly or do I need a ypvs casing

Yes just drill it off flush with a large bit or slice it off with a Dremel cutting disc.

I have a ypvs r/h casing. Its yours for the cost of the post only, if you want it. It does have some light scuff marks.

Dont forget the oil pump covers also differ between 4L0 & YPVS.

your cracked casing is now a candidate for a clear clutch window.just a thought.

That will be the last resort not what I had planned,I had two good casing aqua blasted then polished them ,they were mint but if I can get them welded I will be back on track

if there is no fairing on the bike/even if there was a mod like this makes clutch adjustment easy.
