Hi,
I have a problem with my 350LC. If I don't turn the fuel off, the fuel flows into the left barrel causing a hydraulic lock. Anyone got any ideas why this may be happening?
Thanks Chris

Sticky float valve or float height set in correct, my guess Jess

Wouldn't fuel pour out of the overflow pipes if that was the issue?

Do you know that the internal overflow tubes are clear? Add to list worn float valves, perished o ring on valve seat, dirt in fuel tank. Be careful with hydraulic lock - you can bend conrods !
Hope you get it sorted

Thanks, could it possibly be worn emulsion tube/needle? I'll get a carb service kit.

yep get yourself a carb refurb kit ,better still get 2 and do both carbs.put the one that's not leaking in the one bag as a spare and bin the one that's leaking /no good.yes watch hydraulic lock.

I'd also fit a service kit or replacement fuel tap. Sometimes the tap can be passing fuel and it will still seep past the carb float valves causing flooding. My 250LC used to do it if it was left more than a few days between use.
