Guys, My 350LC is still on std. bore, in fact I don't think the motor has ever been apart (16K miles).....but it sounds like time for new rings & inspect the pistons, paint on barrels & head etc. Can I still get genuine Std rings?? If so where should I try??
Thanks

Seriously Unlikely you could get away with a simple Re Ring.. You can try though :-) The VERY best rings and pistons made for Yama use are OEM.. period. Yamaha supplies (supplied?) only the first 2 oversizes though

Yama 'used to' supply to the 4th over size.. decades ago. Those might be geriatric remaindered examples Now all one needs is OEM Yama pistons to match.

I've found some from Ebay.de. It seems as though the Germans still have quite alot of OEM parts available...costs a bit though!
