Anyone tried widening a pro am belly pan? I recently bought a new one for my LC but I can't get it to sit tight underneath the engine because the fat part of the Nikon downpipes hit the inside edges of the belly pan. It's also not helped by the fact that my footrest hangers are spaced out so the pipes clear the swingarm and rear wheel spindle. I tried for ages repositioning it but only way I can get it to clear the pipes it sits too low and forward and looks crap Any suggestions? I'm not too fussed about cutting it but it's rejoining it that will be more tricky. I'm thinking thin ally sheet and rivets? Could I use filler over the top? Not worried about the underneath but the front bit behind the wheel needs to look half decent.
