A mate of mine has been offered a 350 LC that was registered in 1984 , will this be a uk bike or import , how can he tell ?? Cheers for any info , mick

A german bike will have the steering lock in the head stock where as a UK one wont and it will be part of the ignition.

Might just be a late registered bike, sales fell due to the YPVS coming out, think I read that on here somewhere?

mines a 1984 bike (A reg) - 3 stripe blue tank decals, so its easily possible that its a late reg

I have seen "A" reg bikes in the past so totally feasable.

I have a "B" reg 1984 RD350LC that is a UK bike it should have "declared new at first registration" on the V5

Used to see A'reg LCs quite a bit, i reckon they sat in dealers a while, not so many B's and very few C's, I doubt you would see m(any?) Ds as they should have been sold out by then, unless you were Padgetts LOL
