Hi All, What's the feeling nowadays about which Fuel and Two Stroke oil to use? Opinion to date seems to be use the performance petrol where available but to use the old style mineral oil. Any Thoughts?

You'll get different answers from everyone on this one mate...I tend to fill up when I need fuel, if you ride them, thats the only way you can do it! I had to use Shell and BP and Saturday...no difference in performance, if it isnt sitting in the tank for long, it cant rot it!
I use Castrol ActEvo semi synth but im not loyal too it, if it wasnt in stock, I wouldnt not ride my bike until they I could find some, just buy the right spec(which is pretty difficult not too).
If your bike is standard & set up correctly, you dont need anything too fancy, I think back to the day and I used to thrash my LC everywhere, for 3 Summers on anything...including chain saw oil.

Yes I guess your right, its all down to personal taste then. back in the 80's I was the same as you chuck any old oil in cos we couldn't afford anything better and off I went, never seized an engine yet, but now i'm older (and slightly wiser??) I don't wish to start now lol, Thanks anyway

Hi Copper, where do you get your oil from? Actevo is available in semi synthetic but I've never seen it available in the UK.
