Hi there, I have been looking into buying and building a RD350 YPVS special for some time now and looking for some tips.
I have done a few restorations over the years, Kawasaki ZRX400, ZXR 400 and last year a GPZ900r and now looking for a new challenge. I have helped out a mate with his 350 YPVS restoration over past year and want one of my own.
Any ideas and advice greatly appreciated.

Warm welcome Sparky to the forum. If you've done 4 stroke restorations a ypvs should be a breeze. Good luck with finding the right bike and the build

Still looking for a suitable bike at the moment, once I sell my GPZ900 I'll be on the look out for one.
If anyone has one they want to sell please feel free to contact me.
Thanks

Just hang out here with all these good people, you don't need a 2 stroke, stick with your diesel, there really aren't enough to go around any more anyway.

keep looking mate there are plenty needing doing up . and thers nothing like the feeling of the open road on a nice day on a 2 stroke.
