Any top tips on bearing removal seems tight in case, haven't attempted it yet but tempted to give it a tap. Thanks.

Even a heat gun will work, they are not that tight.

Thanks for your help, poured a kettle full of boiling water over it and gave it a tap with a socket and out it poped, now to get the new one in when it arrives!

Hi Horace, If you want to put your new bearing in the freezer for a few hours before you fit it, you should find that it will go back in no probs. I also draw the new bearing in with these bits of plate and a long cap screw, as I find hammering a new bearing in most uncivilized and uncouth ! In practice, the water pump bearing knocks in and out no probs with a sutable drift or punch. steven.

seems like the the seal has a metal outside housing the same size as bearing so will not compress into where it locates ?
