hi all, im ryan and new to the forum some of you might have known my dad stuart dowell that passed a few years ago and left me and my brother his much loved wrangler 250lc happy to say that after a good 7 years passed its mot today and been out for a run. wouldnt have happened without the knowledge and guidance of wiggy, epsecially sorting that b*****dised wiring loom so just wanted to say a big thanks for everything i know he would appreciate it. after riding only 4 strokes i think i caught the 2 stroke LC bug, god help me. hopefully the pic links work

Looking good. Your dad lives on in you and his LC :-)
Take it to the Aircooled rally this weekend at Derby Rugby Club. Not too far for us. They have a great rideout on Saturday at about 12 ish up to Matlock.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, i was hoping to get up the rally this weekend but having not riden in 7 years there is a few leaks popped up mainly from the kickstart seal and the gear selector :/

Great looker! There will be loads of help n advice at the ac rally (but no chance of a rosette on a lc), they are really easy to fix, hope you have loads of fun on it.

Welcome from Scotland as well. One question does the rock fit under the seat or do you just hope to find a new one every time you park up.☺

You can replace both seals from the outside, but the gear selector usually needs a new selector, as they wear a groove where the seal sits.
