Hi, I watched the live practive from the NW 200 this morning on the BBC NI website. The weather was gloriouis, and its supposed to get better they are saying as the week goes on. I saw this morning that, Ian Hutchinson came off, but was "ok" after a check up in hospital. He did this to his finger, then came back and did a few more practice laps ! steven. /photo/1

...I suppose after his leg thing, a wee "scrape" to the finger like that will be nothing to him. I like him, he always seems a likeable bloke when you see him on the telly or anything. Win 5 TT,s in one week ....then get your leg minced on the opening lap of some short circuit race ! I remember seeing the crash on the telly, so I just looked it up on you tube there, but Im not going to post it, as its not nice, loads of them come off at the start in the pishin rain, and I think more than one bike drives over or smashes into his leg, I found a better one to post with no nastys, well, a couple of pics of all the scaffolding round his leg while they were fixing it, I think it said 30 operations to sort it all out The weather bloke on the news just said that the weather has to be really good on Friday and even better on Saturday, for most of the UK....talk of the warmest day of the year !....he said something about bikertastic steven.

Jeez that finger looks gross - but I suppose it's nowt compered to what he's gone through with the leg. Fair play to him to persevere and be able to get back into the racing game. I really do hope he can regain the form that he had prior to his Silverstone crash.
Is it just me or does he look and sound like the 80's comedian Duncan Norvelle (chase me!!!).

I like Hutchy and have the upmost respect for what he achieved in 2010 but think its time he called it a day before he ends up in a wheelchair or even worse. He is far from the man he was and never likely to ever be again.
