They are mounted on rubber so they can move about a bit - is it making any weird noises?

No sounds normal just looked down and thought it looked a bit excessive.

Make sure you have the engine mounting dampers in place, check that the engine mounting bolts are not loose and then carry on Sir..

Sadly it Is right These, despite being 2 strokes and 180 cranks Vibrate Wayyy more than logic would suggest. Illustrating the fact that it's a 250 cc design bored to 350, sans crank balance rework.

Plus if it's one of the early models ,they don't have the tie bars that help keep the engine from shaking too much Yup I had one of the first ones , bounced about quite alarmingly

Its got the tie bars fitted. Just seemed like a lot had visions of it cracking the engine casing mounts or something.

Take out the rubbers and solid mount it to the chassis and then watch the whole bike vibrate on the spot!

The 350LC Reg DAB322W was first bought by me brand new when I was a lad. It’s looking great now, but when new it was white and blue.

What other colour blue was there ? Only main blue was candy blue, although there were 2 versions of the white with blue stripes.

A 2 and a 3 stripe. Can’t remember where I saw a 3 stripe picture, but they weren’t U.K. market. Australia and elsewhere I think. Jon
