I saw this in Asda today. 1 Litre of 2-stroke for £5 in my favourite 2-stroke colour. Seems cheap. Does anyone know if its any good?

LOL - nice if you want Red Roasted Spuds Probably ok for a scooter but I wouldn't put it in my LC2.

It will be repackaged from a brand so could be Castrol, Silkolene, etc etc, if you can find that out and match to the spec then could be a bargain. Also our engines were designed and built to run on oil of far poorer quality than available now. If I was using it in my daily hack and on a budget then fine but otherwise not worth the risk for me. Castrol TTS every time.

That oil is made by Carlube. Comes highly recommended by members on the 2 Stroke forum. It's a basic spec (FB) straight mineral oil, but much better than the stuff we had back in the 80's. I would use it but it doesn't keep the motor as clean as FC or FD oils.
