Love the pics Pete. Last time I was in Sydney was 1990 - did a trip to the Blue mountains in a Holden Belmont ( budget model to the Kingswood). A whole year not riding a bike apart from an MTX 125 in Thailand. Love the scenery , hope to get back to Coomera nr Brisbane again to see family when money and time allows.

Old Pacific Highway. Awesome bit of road, well it used to be. Best ride I recall down there was trying to maintain 80k. I think the good bit was that I didn't nearly run off the road a hundred times. Not been along there since '95 ish.
Must take the RD back there one day.

Old Pacific Highway. Awesome bit of road, well it used to be. Best ride I recall down there was trying to maintain 80k. I think the good bit was that I didn't nearly run off the road a hundred times. Not been along there since '95 ish. Must take the RD back there one day. .. Eccles on the R1200R and me on the RZ smoker headed off and out of Sydney just before peak hour this evening and within an 1 hour we pull in to Road Warriors. Its becoming a bit of a regular ride, doing a 100k loop to get a pizza, well it is still daylight saving, and it is up the Old pacific Hwy, and its pretty well deserted, and you get to meet all sorts of interesting people, and they're not bad pizzas. Met up with another RZ250. He knew who I was from these forums and he turned out to be a good resource around mods and jetting. He lives at Berowra and knows the road. It turned he'd bought his RZ at Old Gold too at about the same time I got mine. The two number plates were only a few numbers different. He'd paid less than I had but has had to do some work on it. We chatted two smokes, ate pizza then in the fading light he rode with Elliot and I for a quick ride back to town. Nice bloke. He told me his name but Ive since forgotten it. Then it was a quick blast down the freeway and in the back door. Good fun. Just under 4 hrs.
