How easy is it to remove and replace the rubbers on the footpegs as i want to clean up, paint and generally refurbish them, but the rubber looks like it could be a fighter!

I had more bother putting the new ones back on ! That's my fear too. any tips? I thinking of sitting them in boiling water first, and spraying wd40 on the footrest before sliding them on. Sounds easy....! Just cut the old ones off, that wasn't too bad a job.

I just gave them a good whack with a rubber mallet in the end Shaun.

sounds like you already have the solution ! boiling water & a tad of grease does the trick......its down to brute force
If you have a c**k like a handlebar grip then your laughing !

I can't believe how easy the new ones went on. Had my pan of water boiling and wd40 to hand, thought i would offer the rubber up to the footpeg to see how tight it was, and hey presto i managed to slide it on without any trouble without the need for either. After the messing about i had with the handle bar grips i thought these would be a lot harder to replace. Thanks for tips though.
