Ok I spray painted my top & btm yolks a year ago a they're now looking crap If I strip them off is it ok too powder coat them also both my switches need painting as well Also does powered coating remove chrome as I have a spare yolk in shed ? Cheers pete

Hi, You can powdercoat yokes. Just mask up all the areas you don't want the powder to go. I've had some done before; The blasting process that prepares your part may remove chrome. Best ask the firm you intend using. Dusty

Hi As Scott says, bearings and anything not heat proof should be removed. The blasting process will trash them even if the heat didn't. I presume you have taper bearings fitted ? If so, if you can carefully remove them without damage, they should be ok to re-use.

Yep I like to save them if poss . Next up what would do with switch gear powder coat or paint ? Just want too give them it all in one hit thanks
