Been offered some 4LO genuine brake discs which have been bead blasted, not just the centres but in error, this company did the whole disc..I havent seen the discs themselves as yet, seller states discs still within width/wear specs
Im interested in them but will this blasting have affected the intergrity or braking performance of the discs!
TIA

I cannot comment from experience with discs, but would think they will be fine.
You say bead blasted (as opposed to sand or shot) so it should not of effected the surface much at all.
What I can say is that I had a lambretta hub chromed once. They must have blasted it as the first stage as the drum liner was uniformly pitted when it came back. I can honestly say it worked better, although I don't know the physics behind it.

Did all of mine before I painted the centres. No problems there.
