Hi Need some information on ypvs wheels. I have a RD350 N2 but i quite fancy changing the wheels to the ones that are fitted to the 31k model i think correct me if I'm wrong. The ones I'm talking about are the ones with two holes and polished edges. Anyway are these a straight swap on to the later ypvs models will the sprocket discs and cush drive from mine fit the 31k wheels? If they do anybody got a set for sale? Cheers.

Are you thinking of changing the wheels just for looks? The later design of wheel gives more strength and less weight.

The later design of wheel gives more strength and less weight. ^^^^^ This. A step backwards if you ask me. Surely time could be spent elswhere on something that will actually improve the bike?

Hi bartman, I have a pair of those wheels left over from my F1 rebuild, freshly powder coated satin black but that includes the bare alloy edges that makes the std ones look so good, no discs bearings or spacers but all threads & surfaces are good. Yours for nowt if your interested but you'll hafta arrange collection from central newcastle. With a bit of patience you'll find decent ones cheap on ebay-as already said, they're not in great demand.
