Whats a realy good dent free rot free set of 31k pipes worth, they have been living on my restored 350lc so have small brackets welded on to fit the LC mountings but these will grind off and you will never know they were there, pipes need a quick re paint and the baffles are going in my standard LC pipes........a nice rot free dent free set of these must be rare now.

I have an even better set hanging up in my garage, the only dent is a punch hole about the size of a 357 magnum bullet on the underside near the rear of the pipe ( long story) the pipes still have the plastic caps on the baffle screws at the back. They have been on a 31k for about two hours that's it. I would consider them to be worth around 800 Aus dollars or 450 British pounds. Considering it will cost me about 1k for a set of decent Gibsons or Kennys landed in OZ. The important thing to remember although the 31ks weigh a lot, they are arguably the best performing OEM design. Some say the F2 pipes were better, I have tried both, and for me the 31k's worked best. Infact the 31k,s have outshone some aftermarket pipes on some old dyno reports if you do some digging. Don't let em go to cheap as good sets are as rare as hens teeth.
