Can anyboby explain what the rubbers do on my 350ypvs clutch drum do? Are they to damp any noise, are they required as one of mine looks a little damaged. Are there any advantages in fitting/not fitting them.Rebuilt many other bikes in the past and not seen them before? Cheers

When I fitted upgraded race plates had to remove dampers or the set would not fit. A little noisier than before but no issues

they are v shaped cross section and when you pull the clutch I they help push the clutch plates apart to stop the clutch from dragging in my opinion they don't work as intended and are better left out............
