Hi all, Just ordered a set of 34mm mikuni carbs for my tuned hybrid I am building. The front mounting spigot is 40mm and just wondered what inlet rubbers people are using.Billet alloy cost about £125,Moose racing oversize ones cost £86 each and v force cost even more, have I any other(cheaper)options. Also about to close crankcases up and not certain which way right side crankcase seal faces, old one was castle side in but a spare engine I have has the castle side out and if I remember reading here, the picture in Haynes manual is wrong.I am now getting confused.Gratfull for any help. Cheers

Just phoned the suppliers of the moose racing oversize inlets and the price they gave me were for two PAIRS as I asked for two(meaning one pair)so the price not too bad!So will go for them or may stretch to a pair of billet ones, spent so much on this hybrid I cannot cut corners now!

34mm Mikunis will fit into the stock YPVS inlets with some WD40 and swearing. Once in the rubbers swell to the size, done a few like this with no noticeable problems.
