whats up with norbo's ? ive just bought some why is no one saying norbo's are good ? anyone ? who has used norbo's and what results ? The decal i got from Norbo fitted easily and looks great. It was good price and quick delivery. So far no problems. No experience with other suppliers but I'm happy with what i got.

I made my own after wrecking a set from Norbo, I couldn't get them bubble free and flat on the handlebar fairing, then the paint reacted so I made myself some - took hours and hours in Adobe but well pleased with the result.
Imageworks will be your best option IMO - but don't expect just to peel and stick them. Ask their advice on application. You'll have application tape covering them which can make them tricky to position as it makes them stiff and harder to conform to the curves (convex ones especially). Take your time .
Different base vynil can make a huge difference to how easy they are to get perfect.
Don't let me put you off, its satisfying when you get it right.

The application tape is a pain on contoured surfaces. I remove it when doing tanks.
One st of Lc2decals i got were anti wrinkle. They had a small crazed pattern on the back that let the air/water out so they were easy to fit and bubble free.

The fitted panel. All done by my own fair hand and image works fitted decals. They even stated the quality of dream mc lack of attention to detail on decal sizing.... They were exacting as I say. Very helpful.

hi,you will need a mask for 2k paint Totally Seconded - search google for horror stories associated with spraying paints with isocyanates in enclosed environments without proper gear (one guy woke up in hospital with no warning - and he was lucky!) Oh and BTW isocyanate isn't "cyanide" - but it's equally nasty stuff - you really needs full air fed mask, and proper filtration equip etc. OR do what I'm doing ............. setting up my Garage with 2K spraying capability, but due to the fact it's exposed and the wind will blow the extracted Iso's whever it wants, I am opting for a rig made from a full Firemans Chemical BA Rig (A Full Face Mask with breathing regulator like scuba, + Digital Pressure warning etc) hooked up to a pair of twin diving cylinders I have (giving a few hours worth of breathing air) - enough to spray a full set of fairings. I'll post up some photo's and a full how-to, when it's operational. I really like the BA/cylinder idea, as it means absolute zero contamination vs using a Compressor pumping air from close to where you're actually spraying the 2K (its uncontaminated as it's all pre-filtered when pumped into the cylinders). I picked up the Full BA rig (Mask, regulators, hoses, harness etc) on ebay for £50, and had it tested by my Bro' (who's a Airport Firefighter Watch-Commander and BA Testing specialist) and the scuba tanks you can pick up cheap (£20-80) - just make sure they are in test. It's a LOT cheaper alternative than buying separate compressor, high-end air-fed masks, triple coalescing filters (Important for removing atomised oil and nasties, when breathing air direct from a compressor) and fairly cheap to fill (couple of quid) - you need to find a BOA supplier or friendly dive centre close by tho' (Google Dive Centres in your area). You also need to completley cover your skin as it can be absorbed through pores as well (its f*ckin' nasty stuff). Have I freaked you out enough ? I was going to spray 2K with a cheap 3M "2K" Mask from ebay - until my spray painter mate totally balled me out for being so incredibly dimwitted. YHBW !! JB

I used to keep 2 compressors, one to feed a mask but i dont do it often enough to keep tripping over the spare compressor so i swapped it for a good extractor which i sling out the door or window of the garage and its good enough for me spraying with a gun.i wouldnt worry about using the odd rattle can of 2k,i think if that has you keel over you were going to anyway
