So, who knows where there are any NOS old bikes for sale?? Padgetts seem to be the main place though I emailed them earlier in the year and they never got back to me! Granbys used to have some but they have gone now so any ideas?? There is a NOS YZ125 on ebay today but nothing else.

New old stock bikes are hard to fined these days and sell for a fortune.

I'm sure padgets do have some whether they want to sell them or not is another matter, but I'm told there not in mint condition. I wonder what the fork legs and inside the tank etc are like ? I think your better of with a mint restored one. unless you really want zero mile one.

Padgetts are flogging some NOS GSXR1000s and ZX10s at a proper piss taking price..but I did hear they have one or two RG250s "out the back", id love one of those.
If they have been stored correctly , no reason why items like tanks and forks should be less than A1.

If they have been stored correctly , no reason why items like tanks and forks should be less than A1. You couldn't bank on all the rubber items being OK though. Complete engine seals, hoses and fork seals.

No, thats why I said items like tanks/forks as was questioned originally...having said that, you couldnt say 100% they wouldnt not be OK to use, at the end of the day, they ARE worth more because they havent seen "X" amount of years worth of corrosion/associated wear and tear and abuse.. thats a lot harder and more expensive to rectify than a fork seal or brake hose..
