hi, what do people use to connect these carbs to standard 350 ypvs airbox?

You can use the std rubbers, just warm them up first in some hot water then stretch them over. Jess

As above you can use the standard YPVS rubbers but they are a swine to fit over the bigger carbs. Easiest way is to fit the rubbers to the carbs and then the carbs to the bike.

Would it be easier with the kr1s rubbers if you can get them

I have KR1S rubbers on my LC hybrid and they have a double lip similar to the LC rubbers so fit the airbox perfectly, although they are still a bugger to fit due to having a long trumpet that goes into the airbox.
I don't think they would fit the YPVS airbox as from memory the rubbers fit over stubs?
