I haver . Its called a CV carb set up
It stands for Constant Velocity. They are a good mod you get better bottom end and better midrange then by fitting 2 34 mm carbs .. But you don't get at much top end .

hey norbs,thats not a cv carb buddy,that carb is of a big crosser or sumthing,you can tell that from the choke...plus,look at the size of it!!! of a cr 250 etc by the look of it

I don't think its the carb that's cv its the way it delivers the fuel as in the manifold im shure this is a Trinity CV carb set up I used to sell them it will be a 38mm carb

Yes it's a big slide carb. CVs have a diaphragm chamber on top like most 4 strokes. I've seen these single carb conversions on Banshees but not sure why they are used and whether they make any more power? Can't see it myself. Must make setting up easier though and much easier to keep the top crankcase clean

ahha,got ya norbo,u are right,trinity does do these conversions,although I have never heard them called cv manifolds... like rich sez,cv carbs on 4 strokes have a diaphragm on the top ov carb,bet it has good midrange on that,plus its only 20 miles from me,may go have a looksee!!!

On 4 Strokes may be but I think on a 2 stroke this is what you get . I never actually sold any so never had any in but I did have them on the site and they looked just like this .

very true,they do..i was more on the thought that it wasn't a c.v CARB on the lc...but its called a c.v set-up.
