sure I have seen a list on here of (claimed) bhp output from the different ypvs engines but cant find it now, anybody have it?

cheers headcoats, had a read and brakes excellent? mst have been used to a fs1e, chart I am on about just gives power output for 31k engine through to 1wt

F2 was rated at 63 bhp by Yamaha, 31K models were 59. Bear in mind that these figures are 'at the crank'. On a dyno, you're more likely to see anywhere between 45 and 50 or low 50's for a good one

My Mito fitted with a 31k engine gave 53.5hp at the rear wheel on the Dyno if that's any help to you . It's running Mircon GP pipes and pod airfilters ( no room for an airbox ).

Dyno 'brand/type' used to produce those HP is a BIG factor. Eddy brake type dynos give dramatically lower HP numbers than those printed out by the Long proven to be poor; Dyno -jet contraptions.

As bare says . different make of dyno give deferent BHP readings . you may get 58 and your mate may get 63 but in realety yours has more power its down to the machine being used and how its set up .
