I just use the centre stand if I want to take the front or back end off.

The only problem I can see it the side stand mount gets in the way of the lower frame rails. You could use some pieces of wood to level it up but then it gets a bit unstable. An easier way may be to use the centre stand and a single axle stand under the front frame cross tube?

For £80ish seems like a good deal, cant make up where the winding handle goes, or if there is anywhere to chock it in the up position, but for the odd fettling seems good to me, may even get one myself for that price..

Yes, I've not found the need to use a different type of stand.

I use an ABBA stand with various attachemts that they do works a treat. Also use this workbench. Have built 2 of these one for myself and one for my other halfs brother Scott for when he goes racing. Comes apart an stows away nicely. Have applied 2 coats of varnish to them and on Scotts have trimmed the top with aluminium channel as his comes apart alot more and gets chucked in and out of the van/garage. Scott has had his SP1 on it with no issues and I have even put my CB1300 on mine. So much easier working on a bench than on the floor. Can make it whatever height, width, length you want, ideally need a ramp to get bike on and off as well. www.bbcracing.com/old/box/
