Another option is: www.maxtonsuspension.co.uk/ (More expensive than Hagon & Nitron, but great service for us in Oz and a quality piece of kit).

Glad people found the R6 link useful, I wrote that a while back. Most people agree that you dont need to brace, but no harm in doing it of course.
Good news on the YSS shocks norbo, I have them in my XT500.

Ive not ridden my XT in anger anywhere yet as Im still waiting on the tank to be done, but they were nice quality and well built. As usual if you can find them in Germany you will get a good deal as you save the local taxes and their postage is good value, and I expect cheaper than sourcing in Aus...

For the YSS valves?? Follow the instruction sheet. As for Fork oil.. I use Mobil 1 ATF.. yess! Only Belray HVC seems as it's equal. But then yer welcome to try dozens of fork oil varieties on yer own.

I know Clive a bit and have been there a few times. My mate Dippo does work for him and Dave Castle is one of the race mechanics all curry house encumbents.

Started this mod on my N2. Bought an R6 shock on ebay £16 looks a good buy. I was going to try and simplify Dusty's link. Until I found the Phosphur bushings required for the bottom shock mount at "Simply bearings". Drilled the top mount to take the bolt. Just need to notch the frame. I think I will reinforce it for peace of mind.
