Can anyone tell me what speedo and tacho cables are 4" to 6" longer than a standard LC.
My clocks have been positioned slightly higher on my hybrid.
It's the last thing to do to finish it before an MOT, and stopped be attending Gibson's yesterday : (
I am thinking maybe DT. I think the speedo is longer (longer forks) and it has a tacho cable from the same period. Don't know if the tacho cable is longer though.

Hi, I'm having this issue at the mo with a Kr1 front end and raised Lc clocks. The Kr1 speedo cable is way too short. Thought about Kawasaki's that would need a long cable, and decided on a pattern cable for an 1100 Zephyr, at 37" long. It has a forked fitting at the wheel end, but a search on ebay turned up a cable easily enough. I've got the same issue with braided hoses, but think a 2 line set up from a Gsx1400 might suit what I have. Dt may be long enough, or maybe something with higher bars like Xj, Xs etc.

Thanks oldelsieboy, I've seen these but would really prefer a longer cable. Maybe as a last resort.
They say will fit most bikes, but I'd like to be sure.
Some don't mention thread size at all, while others mention M10.
As you know the RD is M12.

If only that we're true muttsnuts. I'd order some, along with some new crank seals
