Guys, I use to have the name of a company in the midlands who use to do stator coil refurb's/rewinds for old bikes like LC's, RD's etc, anyway, I am f**ked if I can find their details, I am sure someone on here must know who it is, if so, please put me out of my misery and remind who it is, or the name of any company that does it and does a good job at a sensible price of course !

I've just sent mine of to westcountry windings for a initial test but for a full rewind is roughly 150 just waiting to here back from them

ah, that was them !!, thanks for that, I'll search them on google to get their contact details etc, I know the windings on the ignition low/high coils are done, as is the pick up coil for the timing signal, both well out of tolerance !

Westcountry windings are confusingly not in the Midlands.....
Harlow, Essex, despite the name.

hehe, yeah, now that is confusing !! - sure the one I used in the past was in the Midlands, so maybe not them, I'll have to turf my garage to see if I can find their details !

West country winding are Well recommended from me they have done my 31k stator low / high coils made a big difference to the starting and slow riding.

Well I know mine arrived with them as I sent it tracked ill give them a call Monday and see what the score is
