Hi all, Just a quick introduction. I've just purchased my 2nd LC in 26 years ................. cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300964538966 As you can see from my signature I'm an ambitious sort of fella. I have lots of projects (basket cases) which I have collected over the last few years, ready for an all out assault this winter as I now have a workshop with soda-blaster, spray capability, polishing/grinding, Tig/Arc/Mig welding and soon a powdercoating oven - built mostly from reclaimed metals - lol. Anyway - I'll post up threads on whatever crazy scheme I've embarked upon that week - which'll hopefully keep some of you entertained (amused? ) AND ... I'm after a tank and some clocks, and I hear these are readily available, and cheap as chips can anyone assist a newb ? Regards, JB

Hi Welcome, lots of like minded owners on here. Looks like you got a good buy there. Clocks and tanks are probably the most expensive parts to get for Lc's if you want good examples,. Depends on how good condition wise you want them as to what you'll pay. Get up to 25 posts and you can access the For Sale/Wanted section on here.

Hi welcome How's the ns400 coming on? Cheers Dud Hi Dud, The NS has now an extra set of exhausts - (ready for slicing and gutting) and is living at the mo in my Cousins warehouse (alongside his Lamborghini, Ferrari and Other classic cars - I kid you not) he's a really nice guy, but don't fret, I ain't rich - just dreaming of being - LOL. This winter I'm going into my man-cave and not coming out till spring Powdercoating oven is on the cusp of being pot-riveted together - just need some donor ovens for elements and fans - and time - heh heh. Cheers, JB

They come to gether quight fast if you keep everything stock and just clean them down and put them back to gether , I look forward to reading more about your build . Yeah, funny this one - I have a pile of bikes in bits awaiting completion of my workshop (Blasting Cabinet, Powder/Ceramic Coating Oven etc) but been watching a few RD's go for kerrazzy money and this one popped up with fresh powdercoating, new internals (crank/rods/hone/rings yadda yadda) and most of the donkey work done by P & G motorcycles (spoke to Shaun - friendly and helpful) and for the money (£900) I couldn't very well turn it down - surprised it lasted the week on ebay whilst I flogged some stuff to mates (top secret wife-unaware purchase - ) Anyway, Nurse only lets me on the PC every few days so will be back again soon ........ PS was only joshing about tank and clock prices WOW things are expensive eh? JB

Dusty Aaahh the elusive Classifieds - was wandering where they were Yep - have the bike in my mates warehouse now and mightily pleased (scary buying on the basis of photo's) but seller was completely honest and the bikes actually nicer in the flesh than the photo's (a first eh ?). I'm busy with work at the mo' but soon as next months over I'll be flat out getting this beauty ready for throwing a leg over and running-in. Need to source some complete Carbs (I have 4l1 bodies or some spare 31K YPVS's but that's a bit overkill) also need some seat foam, a cover and other stuff mentioned beforehand - but need to sell more stuff to finance, first! Regards, JB

Ill need to do something at some point they are taking over my house . LOL - yep I get too excited - I sold a load of Junk (old scuba/camera gear etc) and financed the purchase of some utterly gorgeous TYGA stainless exhausts for my 2 VJ21's - they are on special at the moment on TYGA's Direct Thai website. Ordered them on the 15th Sept and they arrived (well packaged) this morning - I will post up some pictures, when I unpack them tonight ! The best bit is Customs let them straight through, and I paid a total of £0.00 import duty .......... WTF Happy Days
