Thanks for the info. It is quite interesting. Well, I am from the '80's. My first RD was a 1980 RD400G that I bought after skipping grade11 math for $1869 . It was discounted because the new LC

Damn pints, make my fingers do funny things... I bought the 80 since the new LC was $500 more. The next year I got the LC and figured it out. What a machine! I'm thinking of replacing the stockers for something that look great and perform well. The LC still thrills after all these years. Its not a daily ride, I just pull it out for a blast once a week, since I've got 6 bikes, but its my fave. Thanks for the advice. Laker

Did I reed the graphs right that the Allspeeds give the better of the Mark bottom end up to about 4500 then equal to 7000 then the TSA's go again at 75000 stronger than the Allspeeds and there after. yes, you read the graphs correctly, please remember though that the test was what you can expect by just bolting them onto the bike with no tuning or carb work, now that I've done the carbs etc with the TSA's on the graphs are different again for the TSA's and I've still got a few tweaks I want to do, once I am done, I'll pop the final graph up for the TSA's after the bike has been tuned and tweaked etc

So TSA pipes put 50 bhp out @ 9800 RPM, giving it 300RPM over rev? are these results a bog standard 350lc just with main jet adjustments? and thats 50 BHP at the rear wheel? seems a lot of power increase over stock pipes how is the power band hit after the TSA high rev pipes ?

Dammit.. Was happy with my decision to stick with std cigar pipes on my n1 restoration but having just come across this I'm now very tempted by a set of the tsa pipes. Nice work, I can appreciate the amount of time and effort a back to back test like this takes and is invaluable in providing fact based results, rather than the usual sheep effect that often happens on owners forums where people say something is great just because everyone else says it's great. On the downside this thread will probably cost me a pile of cash Tony
