Nice to have your own forum. The 400 was a very capable bike. it was/is unfortunatly tarred with the down cc'd 250. on paper the 400 SD was actually the same speeds as the 400E but few people ever rode a 400 as the numbers that sold were alot less than the 250.

my mate had a 400 superdream, never saw one wheelie until he did it and knocked a lamp post down , to add to the cost of writing his bike off, the council sent him a bill for £250 to replace the lamp post, we fell about laughing for weeks after, shame viedo camera's or video phones weren't about then as it would have been on you have been framed..... worst still, he bought an RD400F a few weeks after that, you would have thought he had learnt his lesson that he couldn't wheelie, but nope.....bet you can guess how long that bike lasted.....

Some people just wernt meant to have bikes We had a mate who spent years in an out of hospital but at least we had somewhere to hangout Infact who was it who won a 500cc race and pulled a wheelie afer the finish line and came off? I think i saw that in the hospital. wasnt mamola was it?
