Just wondered if anyone had one of those vacuum covers where you suck air out with a hoover..just wondered if they were any good.

Never tried one of these, but do have a couple of 'Airchambers' One for cars and another for a bike, but they do take a lot of room up. whereas the bag needs the footprint of the bike only.

Erm.. Why Not? Does the Laundry bag preclude the inevitable aging of fuel and coolant ?

Erm.. Why Not? Does the Laundry bag preclude the inevitable aging of fuel and coolant ? No. I have bought a vac bag this year. Only intend to run carbs dry. You aren't creating a perfect vacuum ! Just sucking some air out and using a descicesant to make sure the air left in isn't moist. I only intend to leave the bike in the bag for the worst 5 months - so really no need to drain all fluids etc.

You mean these? [a href=" |http://thumbsnap.com/XURpYK9q"] |http://thumbsnap.com/XURpYK9q[/a] www.carcoon.com/carcoon-bikebubbleThey have their own little fan in them and seem like a great idea to me. Id love one for the Busa but they are £220+...cant quite justify it but they do work from what a friend who has his bikes in them says.

Ive never seen those before...id be slightly concerned that the plastic bag being so close to the bike and components may mark the finish, you know, like when you wrap items in bubble wrap for months on end, if they work, seems decent enough for the money.
