Hi,
What are the best reeds for a standard 31K. I remember Boyeson reeds being the bollocks in the day, what about now? And who sells them?

My money on the Boyesons as well having tried others, good all round performer for the street real world. Mark.

Not Trap Door Boysens ?? Those at least have been Proven crap...repeatedly. Dunno about other Boysen variants though. Best all round are OEM yama banshee F'glass reeds. Good strong midrrange and they give up nothing at the top or bottom. Yama San seems to know his products :-). Lots of happy owners. VERY affordable from the Yama dealer even. You need go to V force at significant $ to get superior performances to the Banshee reeds.

Engine builder Jim Baggus is building my engine and says Aktiv reeds are the best - get them from Allen Performance.

Maybe not the 'best' one but banshee fiberglass are good upgrade for a street bike
