Master Stephens charged me 1180 to rebuild an engine in jan this year, trouble is there was nothing wrong with.it until he got it,,I only wanted it tuned, 1180 later an its still not tuned and sounds the same. Never again, whilst he had it for 2 months,I rebuilt one myself with new crank an all new seals and 3 special tools all for under £400 and within 2 weeks, easy job and you know what's been done

Thought Stan retired years back and it was others doing work under his name. ? He's still going , it cost £360 to strip and rebuild plus parts,,Stan himself made me meet him at Brands Hatch to deliver and collect my engine!,He said the council was on his case cos he works from home. then the receipt for the work came as an estimate for tax purposes? He's 67 years old now
