Hi mate , mine is placed where the oil tank used to be ( I bought it like this ) which is fine if you want to run premix ....

Hi, Lots of ways of doing it. I made a plate from a piece of "L" shaped steel, and had it welded in before powdercoating the frame; Cables are the right length and it all works perfectly. Dusty

Still building mine but I basically mounted mine in the same position as Dusty, except I made a U shaped bracket and came backwards off the coil cover mounts. It is very tight in there and not much room for all the switchgear connectors.

Thanks guys. I'll do mine like Jess as my frame is already done. Neat work.
Edited to add - btw whilst I'm asking, where have you chosen to put the cdi and pv control units?

I mounted mine in the same place as everybody else, but used rubber lined 'P'clips off the frame tube instead, I've seen them cable tied on as well (!)
Mines a race bike so it doesn't run a battery or airbox so the electrics went in the redundant battery space, I just run an alarm battery for the PV's. The CDi would fit where the stock LC one goes and I reckon the PV controller would mount on the back of the battery box?

Cable ties - guilty as charged.
