Went to local ish bike night last night , 70 mile round trip , had a few diesels on toe so twas a spirited run ! Bike ran beautifully, I was well chuffed . So there she is parked up attention seeking all evening , as I come to leave the group of wanna bees pull back to watch elsie burst into life , & what happens Nothing absolutely nothing , after a million kicks & more people gathering one smart ass says ! Whats up mate wont it start ! (you really need that) . Any way Helmet & gloves off ,plugs out ,not wet ,nice colour ,good spark, fuel to carbs , still nothing , so ended up bumping it & away she went . Ran perfect all the way back . Figure that one out as Im foxed ? Perhaps she dosnt like the attention !

I was looking at some of your other post as I remember you had issues like this. The last post I could find was relating to the floats, did you sort these/ are you happy with them now?

Seems to be a common theme these days. Was at a local bike night last night after a good run with the yammagamma. Sat for a couple of hours when me and another rz350 in a sea of 4strokes went to leave, both of us were having trouble getting going. Ended up being a race of who could kick start thier bike first. I lost... but managed to get her going and seemed to run fine. Guess I need to clean my carbs. And yeah... lots of comments thrown out in good fun from the 4stroke guys, but big applause when we got both bikes running.

Could be needle valves leaking if fuel is left on and flooding engine slightly....

Yes mate , new floats new fuel tap new needle valves & new throttle cable , set float heights & carbs . The difference is night & day , so much smoother & a lot less vibration.

mine starts 1st or 2nd kick in or out of a crowd! Same here thank f**k, nothing more embarrassing than a bike that won't start apart from dropping it in the car park

At least you didnt call the RAC out only for said RAC man to notice the kill switch in the "off" position...Witnessed this last year at a bike meet..
