Ive stripped an exhaust stud on my f2 that was never too good in the first place,,, it looks as if the original had snapped and been drilled, then new threaded bar cut to corect lengths,, unfortunatly there was only about 3 threads left in the bottom of the hole and soon as I put any preassure on to nip the nut up it just pulled out the stud ,,, so before I pull the engine out and take to a shop, im going to try a home repair helicoil as the cheapest option first, and if that fails, then its of to the shop with the engine, my question is,,, what is the size and thread size of exhaust studs so I can order the correct set,,, there is so many options and I dont know how to measure threads,, if anyone has a link to a helicoil repair kit for the correct one I need would be mint cheers guys
